There has been so much information, education, and press about how to stay protected from the flu this year. honest to God, you'd think we had a new form of cancer to worry about, a new deadly disease. Its the FLU!
Anywhere between 5% to 20% of people get the flu each year. And yes, 36,000 people die from flu-related causes each year in the United States. FLU RELATED causes. Key word.
My mantra this winter is "I am not getting the flu." The more we think about the sickness, the more likely we are going to mentally put ourselves to bed. Its pretty simple: Sleep well, eat well, exercise regularly, think positively, and wash your hands.
If you're running yourself down, partying hard, sleeping poorly, eating junkfood and not exercising, you deserve to have a weak immune system. Stop trying to be invincible.
